Chitwan National Park
It offers wilderness of rich ecosystem that includes mammals,birds,reptiles & water anmals of different kinds. Due to its rich diversity of nature the park was enlisted in UNESCO Natural Heritage site in 1979.In thia Park where 526 species birds,600 plants,50 mammals,49 amphibians,reptiles,500 one horned rhinocerous & and around 200 royal Bengal tigers. The place which lies 160 km south from Kathmandu where one can have few (2/3) days package trip which includes elephant safari,bird watching,canoeing,village tour,culture programme,meals etc.
Royal Bardiya National park
The largest & most undisturbed protected area in the south part (Terai) of Nepal & is an abode to the endangered Royal Bengal Tigers & one horned rhinocerous. It is bordered by Karnali River in the west,Churiya range in the north which is located in the far western district of Bardiya. The area occupies by thick forest comprises with 30 different mammals,more than 250 species birds,several varities of reptiles & other water animals.Elephant,swamp deer,blackbuck,gharial,chrocodi le & marsh mugger crocodile etc.are the major animals can be seen with the trip.
